Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros., known in
Japan as Nintendo All Star! Dairantō Smash Brothers is a fighting game
developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo.
In Super Smash
Bros, the player aims to throw your opponents off the arena at any one of four
possible directions: up, down, right and left. The damage of each player,
represented as percentages, is shown in the interface. The higher the level of
damage, more distance will result in a single blow, to cause the character to
be placed off screen, losing a life. The game differs from most traditional
fighting games, which represent the energy of the players in bars, and aims to
subdue the opponent. In Single Player mode, the player is presented ten
challenges that must be completed to reach the final boss, Master Hand (Master
Hand). This mode also includes three bonus levels. In the multi-player mode,
the player can choose any of the available characters and compete in arenas available,
both in time mode (Time), where you should play as many players out of the
arena as possible in a given time limit, or stock (Stock), where to play
players out of the arena until their stock runs out of lives. The player can
also choose between Free-for-all mode, where each player fights against each
other and Team Battle, where the player can form duo or trio with other players
on teams represented by colors. In Practice 1 Bonus (Bonus Practice 1) and
Practice 2 Bonus (Bonus Practice 2) modes, the player can choose any of the
available characters and play both in the bonus level in Step Platforms! (Board
the Platforms!) Or Break the Targets! (Break the Targets!). Each playable
character has a different stage that requires the attributes to be completed.
During
matches, fall items linked to series of games represented by the characters in
the game, which can be used by anyone who is in the arena. Some have purposes
of attack such as Koopa shells (Koopa Shells), Poké Balls (Poké Balls) and
Tacos Baseball (Home-Run Bat), and other health recover as Heart Containers and
tomatoes Maxim (Maxim Tomatoes). On the player's option, items can be
specifically turned off so that the chosen items not arise during a game. There
are a total of twenty-one items in the game.
NEW GAME
The game features realistic visuals in high definition
on the Wii U and the 3DS visual cel shading. Both versions have the same number
of playable characters, but each will feature exclusive arenas. The Nintendo
3DS version will include more arenas based games released for handheld consoles
from Nintendo, while the Nintendo Wii U will have more stages based games
released for home consoles.
The 3DS version was well received in Japan, with Famitsu magazine evaluating
the game at 37 points and 40 also sold over a million copies in its first
weekend of release in Japan.
